I made the Washington Post with my Post

Well, well, well. As it turns out, my big mouth is good for something after all. My little post about Race, Police and Howard County caught the eye of an editor over at The Washington Post. She contacted me and asked if I would like to write about that topic for the Local Opinions page. And just like that ‘snap’ I wrote a 750 word opinion piece about racial profiling for African-Americans particularly women.

So without further ado, I present the link to my post for my hometown news paper The Washington Post. I wish I could write for them more often (I may even be tempted to do it for free) but I’ll take this one night stand and run with it as far as it goes. It was an honor to do this assignment.

Feel free to like, dislike, comment, tell me to go to hell, whatever.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚
