I’m not exactly a tree hugger but any chance I get to learn more about how to preserve the environment and stay healthy, I lend an ear. Enter the annual Howard County Green Fest sponsored by the good folks over at the Ho Co Parks and Rec. It’s happening tomorrow and I will absolutely be there. I need some papers shredded. I want free compost bin (PLEASE). And I want to be inspired to grow a veggie or two on my deck this summer. These are some things that I can honestly say I would not do on my own in spite of my interest. Events like this kinda push me to get going and stop rambling about what I’m going to do. Gotta make it happen. Will you join me?
Check out some other features of the fest.
• Wake up with Fair Trade coffee & birds at 10am
• Outdoor nature play space
• Live reptile and birds
• Kids crafts
• Mini farmers market
• Solar telescopes
